Arts Legends Aotearoa: Celebrating 25 years of the Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi Laureates

In 1998, a group of visionary arts philanthropists came together to create a fund that would support the careers of New Zealand arts practitioners, across many art forms. Twenty-five years on, the foundation they established, The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi, has supported 145 laureates. This rich and inspirational book, written by leading New Zealand arts writers, celebrates the individuals whose practices as painters, musicians, writers, dancers, filmmakers, sculptors, composers and more have brought such joy and innovation to Aotearoa arts. They are complemented by five engrossing conversations between leading artists and longtime arts patrons.
