Papatūānuku in Māori “creation stories” is the Earth Mother. This Earth is where we live, where we grow our food and from which we gain sustenance. As we continue to fill our landfills with toxic non-biodegradable rubbish, her puku and friendly worms are all suffering. What can the children do to help save Papatūānuku and secure a healthy sustainable future?
Papatūānuku has a tummy ache and the friendly worms that live inside her puku are coughing and spluttering. Tamariki come and listen and see how we could give the worms and Paptūānuku some help to get better.
